I draw my strength from my knowledge and experience as an orthopaedic surgeon over the last 30 years or so, treating all types of fractures including spinal fractures, and as a medico-legal expert for the last 20 years or so, reporting on all types of soft tissue injuries, whiplash, fractures and spinal cases, excluding when there is an injury to the spinal cord. In the BOA I was Founder President of (BOSA) British Orthopaedic Specialist Association (an affiliated society of BOA) with a voting seat on the BOA Board of Specialist Society. I relinquished the post in September 2015 after 10 years. I am still a member of the Executive Committee of BOSA.
